Job Description and Requirements

  • Head Start Teacher (ages 3-5):  minimum of an AA in Early Childhood Education required.  BA in Early Childhood Preferred.   Two (2) or more years teaching in a childcare or preschool setting preferred.

  • Early Head Start Teacher (ages birth-3):  Minimum of an Infant and Toddler CDA required.  Two (2) or more years teaching in a childcare or preschool setting preferred.

  • Associate Teacher: High School Diploma or GED required. Two (2) or more years teaching in a childcare or preschool setting. CDA  is preferred.

Brazoria County Head Start Early Learning Schools, Inc. (with School locations in the following communities: Angleton, Brazoria, and Lake Jackson) is seeking individuals for the following career opportunities:

Head Start Teacher

Early Head Start Teacher

Associate Teacher

 

All positions require a cleared criminal background check and motor vehicle report ran prior to hire along with FBI Fingerprinting and Drug Screen upon job offer.

Must possess a valid Texas Driver’s license and have access to a vehicle with proof of insurance.
